Due to horrible varicose veins and after $10,000 surgery I still have to wear compression stockings, I'm not overweight, I'm 5ft 5in and 125lbs . but I have a family history of severe varicose veins. The veins grew back after the operation. I bought stockings of the same brand and style two years ago and wore them every day.
