I thought a small stool would be a great way to improve my LR. I was skeptical about the cheaper cardboard ones. But I didn't want to spend a lot of money either. Found this one which was a bit on the high end of the cheap. It's amazingly good. Very durable. I weigh 185 pounds and can sit or even stand on it with confidence, it's rock hard. It looks good, has a nice understated charcoal color and the upper cushioning is decent. The storage shelf is very convenient to tidy up your electronic stuff like chargers, game controllers, spare cables, etc. in the living room. There are a few hard edges on the sides of the top cushion that aren't too comfortable for your feet, but once you know they're there you can work around those areas. Considering what it is and the overall quality for the price I don't think it deserves one star. Satisfied to very satisfied with the purchase.
