Review on ๐ŸŒฑ Little Tikes Tractor: Top-Quality Recycled Plastic for Eco-Conscious Kids by John Bones

There are no wheels, check the price

The item didn't look fun when assembled but I'll never know as my package was missing two rear wheels. Inside was a quality control sticker stating that the contents had been checked. but how can you overlook TWO WHEELS? Someone clearly did not cope with their task. In addition, the front tire looked used and worn out. Did I receive a box with defective parts? Edit: After some thought, and my husband's insistence that my daughter would love it (if all the parts came to assemble), I ordered a second tractor. It had all the parts. Assembly went well, although I had to frantically tap to keep the cylinders in place. I chose to set the handlebars to the lowest position, but it seems like you can adjust it later or set it higher for a bigger kid. As with the first purchase, the quality of the front wheel was questionable. It looks like it was carelessly glued together. The steering wheel only turns about 15 degrees left or right, as another reviewer mentioned. This prevents sharp turns, but for a 22-month-old it's probably for the best. I've read reviews about this tractor being a roll over hazard and I'm wondering if these casters turn easier than ours. Overall this is still a 3 star product. DO NOT buy this tractor for more than the suggested retail price of $42.99 on the Little Tikes website. I've seen it listed for over $55 at Revain and other retailers and I don't understand why.

  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
