I got rosacea when I was 40 and have always had dry, extremely sensitive skin. But I'm also prone to breakouts (mostly hormonal) and have had issues with perioral dermatitis, which means avoiding using SLS-containing toothpaste, shampoos, cleansers, etc., and heavy, creamy moisturizers, although that's what I've always needed. use to keep my skin from feeling tight and itchy. Everything seems to irritate my skin in one way or another. But it's so gentle that it doesn't irritate my skin at all - I can even use it under my eyes and on my eyelids! The texture is a light creamy gel and becomes more fluid like water after application to the skin. came out. I use this lotion multiple times a day as my skin's protective barrier seems to be quite compromised, but most people probably wouldn't need to reapply it as often (if I used a light oil like squalane, I would still need to reapply as often, btw). My skin is like a sponge! The dimethicone in the Cure Water Lotion provides some occlusive properties but does not create a heavy feeling. After application my skin does not feel greasy, sticky or greasy as it absorbs very quickly. Most occlusive products irritate my skin, so I'm happy to find something that helps me retain moisture. I use it together with Hada Labo Gokujun Premium "Lotion" (more like a toner in consistency), Hada Labo Perfect Gel and CosRx Propolis Ampoule. It's even gentle enough to use immediately after IPL hair removal without irritation or burning. This is the second bottle I've bought and I'll be buying more when it's gone! I never want to be without this stuff again!
