The fit is so-so!
The Elmo product image looks exactly like the picture. However, the fit of the cap is not very good. I thought it looked weird, it didn't fit well (sewn like pool) and it looked weird on my son's head. I sent back the first cap I received and asked for a replacement. They sent me a new replacement pretty quickly and this second hat is definitely better; fits much better.
