Review on Olympus VN2100PC Digital Voice Recorder by Isaiah Boys

I only used the index mark feature for testing, but I think it will come in handy for longer entries like meetings. I doubt it matters much for voice pickup, but mine is tuned for the highest sound quality. This cuts the recording time down to around 3 hours, but that's more than enough for my needs. This can be a factor when downloading .WAV files to your computer. a lower quality reduces the file size. If you're uploading voice recordings and file size is an issue, just get one of the many free .WAV to MP3 converters available. If you don't mind downloading it to your PC, save $15 and just buy the VN2100. The only improvement I can think of would be if the recorder had a backlight, but the record and stop buttons are easy to find in the dark, so I think I can work around that one flaw. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this recorder.
