And its main disadvantage is its rather limited capacity/space in my opinion. I can see where they came from: they wanted it to be versatile enough to be used as a carry-on, so the compromise was size so it could fit within the (typically) 7kg/15lb carry-on weight limit on. . So if you agree with that, please read on. The first thing that strikes you about this backpack is of course the size of the wheels. And that was the main reason why I chose this backpack. I used to have several wheeled backpacks - a pair with two small wheels and one with four small wheels. However, none of them had wheels that size. What makes it better is its superior rolling ability - the bigger the wheel, the stronger, more stable and faster you can pull it as it can gain more momentum than smaller wheels. The traction feeling is much better than the smaller wheels and I can maneuver around people and obstacles with much more confidence. Another benefit is that you don't have to pull it up the stairs or hill as the large wheels make this much easier and also makes it possible as the small wheels can cause the backpack to cling to the vertical sides of the stairs or hill hill. Finally, the big wheels also need to be more durable, and that should be clearly visible with this backpack. The backpack itself also appears to be very durable. It is made of thick nylon fabric and well stitched. The main handle on top is also premium quality, thick construction with strong threads. I really like the two side compartments that you can use to store drinks, bottles or any other vertically inclined items you might have. There are decent pockets and smaller compartments in the main compartments, but it doesn't compare to my best Samsonite or SwissGear travel backpacks (I'm a bit of a backpack collector and have had over 20 backpacks over the years). Again, this is more for travelers using it as carry-on luggage - so it's more in the process of traveling than after you've reached your destination and want to use it more for trekking, hiking, longer trips, etc. Whatever you can store with it (clothes included) should last you a few days, not a week or more. There would be a star deduction for me if there were no wheel cover, because with such large wheels you can clearly see that you easily get your back dirty when carrying them as a backpack. Luckily, there's a rear wheel cover that you can pull out for this type of situation. So in the end this will probably be one of my backpacks when I can travel regularly again, because everything about it tells me it should last for years and many adventures together.
