Too big, might be an issue for sand but worth a try
I like that these are super easy to put on. They seem clunky but are very light. I measured my son's foot and ordered accordingly and it was almost an inch too big. One shoe also had a cosmetic flaw. Will be returning but definitely will consider for repurchase in a different size. Don't know how well they would last. My only concern is how much sand might get inside due to the large holes ontop.
