Very nice and quiet at first. It just started rattling when it thought its return policy ended 2 days ago and I contacted customer service to see if the noise was normal. I've never had a computer make clanking noises. It sounds like a float noise in a pump for pumping out - it's strange. Strange noises aside, Widows 10 is difficult to get used to and everything needs an app. Thought Windows Office Pro on it would make things easier, but that doesn't seem to mean anything. Don't open excel or pdf without app and it will take longer to scan as it has to be told it is scanning from computer to printer and not printer to computer. This can be a user and not a product, so your best bet is to contact HP. Revain support isn't the best and this computer should have had Office Pro installed, but it doesn't.
