Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R2000DB Studio Monitors: Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers with Optical Input, 120 Watts RMS - Black by Ha Joon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

If you ignore the fact that they have Bluetooth, then you will find that the speakers are very good. They have a really appealing appearance. And perhaps I'm being overly critical here. Understand that the emphasis here is on the bass; it is very, very powerful, in my opinion, even when the settings are turned down to the bare minimum. It is important that this is understood.

Pros
  • - the craftsmanship and the components used (I watched a comprehensive evaluation in which the speakers were put back together again.) - in outward form - a size that is not overly imposing - If you play music through a browser while using a sound card that is not built into the computer, the sound will be very juicy and detailed if you have a sound card that is separate from the computer and not built into the computer. Details will be audibly clear. Powerful bass. Very lively voice transmission.
Cons
  • - The sound quality is appalling when played using Bluetooth. I attempted to transmit using the Honor 20 Viwe, which has Bluetooth version 5, and the iPad Pro (2022) 12.9, which has Bluetooth version 4. The iPad has better sound on the speakers, but you still expect more from a device of this caliber. Due to the fact that they use an older version of the protocol, I am unable to listen to music with these speakers using bluetooth because the sound is terribly uneven (Bluetooth version 4 on speakers) - These are not the speakers that I brought home from the store, activated, and found to be instantly noticeable. I had to tinker. After investing in a low-cost built-in Asus Sonar SE card and connecting it to the computer with an optical cable (not the cable that came with the package, but a better one I purchased separately), the speakers were able to demonstrate their full potential.
