*This is a review of what was sent to me, NOT the product itself* I've been using this mascara since it was first called Kiss Me and imported from Japan which is over 15 years it's over now Years. This is the only mascara I use. I am of course aware of all the versions/packaging/look and feel that have come out over the years. The CURRENT version should be a full length perforated tube that can be peeled off and opened. This sealed tube is placed in an aluminum cylinder with a screw cap. What I received was an unsealed tube in a small worn curved cardboard box instead of an aluminum tube. Blink hasn't sold mascara in a box in YEARS. For a second I thought they might be going back in the box, but I examined the mascara itself (unsealed) and realized that not only was it old, it had been used. The formula smelled strange and was watery. Let's go back to Raven. I put a note about this in the packaging so it doesn't get thrown on the shelf and sent to someone else. I can't imagine where this old tube was pulled out, but just the sight of the dirty packaging must have been noticeable before shipping. As for the REAL mascara. still love it. I'm not the type to try to build up tarantula legs on my face, not sure if this product will do the trick, but I have medium-length natural lashes and a few quick strokes will do the trick. I don't have to touch my eyes for the rest of the day, removal is as easy as it claims, and no raccoon eyes come off or dusty chips. From now on I'll go back and buy from Blinc's own website. If someone unfamiliar with the product got what I did they would think it was rubbish and rightly so. There is also a high risk of infection when using old eye make-up. I will wait for the additional shipping time to make sure I get what I pay for.
