I used them to rip up a tile floor. Anyone who rips tiles knows that you often get cut. The first time I used them they already had holes and slits in them. They also have to be made with layers of rubber because mine peels off like leather. I think they are junk for the $ you pay. That's $3 gloves. I bought a pair from Lowe with the same concept and used them for the same thing. They lasted 2 years and were cheaper. I think they were called Affengriff. Anyhow, hope this helps.
