I needed to replace an anchor bolt that had fallen out of the box on my truck. I had to tap into the bracket to fit the hole, but then installed it with a nut on the back with no problems, after which the end of the rack snapped in just right. I hope I don't have to change anymore, but now I have a few spares. The only minor complaint is that the hex is a bit short, but that's how it should be.
