Photos of old pair and new pair to show wear. For $45 these are the best running shoes I've found. I just bought a new pair of size 1/2 now that it's getting hotter and I'm moving, my feet swell a little more and I need room. My old pair have done over 150 miles and they are still in good condition, the bottom pad has flattened a bit but that is to be expected for what you are buying. These aren't $180 pro shoes with tons of cushioning and blistering. But for sand, rocks, grass, mud and trails, they are comfortable and breathable. I sometimes run in them on sidewalks and streets, but I'd prefer regular shoes for that, they wear out the treads, but actually not that bad when you think about it. not suitable for walking on wet grass, your feet will get wet/may become slippery in packed mud. I haven't walked through real water yet so I don't know how fast they dry. For a durable entry-level running shoe under $50 that won't fall apart after two uses, I would definitely recommend trying this shoe.
