I bought these mics a few years ago, I DJ in clubs, weddings and weekly karaoke. AKG microphones are always with you. You have served me very well. I've bought mics from other brands like Pyle, Sampson etc and those mics couldn't survive two years of karaoke in a busy bar. The AKG keeps going and sounds crystal clear, I've never had a problem unless the battery dies, which is rare as they are energy efficient. When it comes to wireless mics, this is the only brand I buy because the price is so damn high. Even if someone breaks it or steals it, don't kill me to replace it.
