This camera compares favorably to most others we've used in its price range. As with many of them, the shutter speed is slow at times and the red-eye filter isn't as good as they say. However, I have to say that the main reason not to buy one is the same as with any regular non-professional camera these days. This is something you might as well use with your phone. Yes, the quality is not that good, but what do you always have with you, a cell phone or a camera? As I kept trying to carry the Cyber-shot around in my purse, it eventually broke and I had to buy a new one (no fault of the camera). Also, I've read that old-fashioned film only has four to eight megapixels. How close do you want to see my acne? Save your money and maybe buy a better phone.
