available I have been buying Science Diet puppy food for 11 months and have never had any problems with it. My dog eats it well and I combine it with Science Diet soft food for extra puppy flavor. There was a problem with that last batch they sent me. The moment I opened it I could tell it didn't smell right and it was discolored. The regular batch has a strong odor and a reddish tint. I didn't put much emphasis on it, I thought maybe they changed the recipe. Right from the start, when I put the food in the bowl, my dog would hide under the table (which he does if he doesn't like the treat or food). He hasn't eaten in over 24 hours. I thought he might be sick. Went to the pet store and bought a pack of the same food off the shelf just to check it out. He ate it right away. I don't know what's wrong with the food, but what frustrates me the most is that my dog would rather starve than bite off a bite. All I can say is if you buy this, don't buy it. Throw away your bag and compare it to the one in the store. You may have to return it. VERY disappointed and will now be looking for a new direction for my dog food. Thank you for taking my money and giving me food I wouldn't feed a stray dog. The only thing it liked to eat was my trash can.
