So far I've found them to be great at keeping my hands dry except when I'm sweating and the sweat from my hands is sticking to the lining. One morning in 30 degrees when I was standing most of the time my hands got cold but as soon as I started moving and giving off body heat they actually got too warm lol. I touch on melee weapons a lot, and they did a good job, especially when it's raining and the metal is wet.
