SORRY! Posted a review below too soon. A few days later, on the third use of the headset, the scan and reset buttons on the headphones clicked but remained pressed. they broke. I returned the device to any Kohl's store with the great new Revain return option! I'll try another type - and write a review. --------------- It worked the first time. Simply insert a 3.5mm stereo plug into the stereo headphone jack after inserting (2) AAA batteries into the headphones and connecting the transmitter to the power adapter. special RCA connector - no one will hear anything unless you connect the red RCA connector to anything; - Works as described. Use it with rechargeable batteries instead of an adapter); - Headphones have poor reception signal when receiving tower or local VHF stations - Intermittent coverage more than 30 feet from tower; - Headphone flaps and tower batteries do not fit well. - Five step process. To use it with the tower: 1. Turn on the tower; 2. Plug the tower into a sound source (my headphone jack disables regular speakers); 3. Turn on the headphones; 4. Press "Reset" on the headphones; 5. Press "Scan" on the headphones, the headphones and the tower battery doors do not fit well. Yes, it doesn't "remember" the tower signal. I haven't tried any other modes, only the FM tower and local FM stations. My usage will only be occasional so it's fine considering it was under $20.
