Some pros: A large range of manual options that give you the ability to adjust the camera settings in the most minute detail possible. A special thank you to Canon for the ability to manually change the focus. The solution is even better than I anticipated. A lens that is considered to be of average quality and features an aperture that allows for a range of depths of field. Together with its drawbacks, it is LOUD! This absolutely nullifies the value of any and all advantages. There is still a chance of survival if the ISO is kept low or the lighting conditions are favorable; but, if the lighting conditions are poor or the aperture number is large, the outcome will be disastrous.
