I personally don't like the dress, it's too colorful. But my daughter is really in love. It's made of a thin fabric, definitely not for winter per se, similar to shirt fabric. The details are sewn onto the fabric so they stayed safe and healthy after the dress was washed and dried. The only thing I complain about is that after washing/drying things on the shoulders don't stay in place, they roll off. The dress is long, it goes to the knees, the arms are also long, but you can fold it, because the shimmering fabric looks the same on the inside too. I got M for my 7 year old, she looks huge out of the bag but if it fits her.
