I assembled it myself, at 73 years old, I've done it many times, so although the instructions really weren't very good, I knew what I needed from previous experiences did. HOWEVER, many complained that the doors and pre-drilled holes did not line up. Well I guess I'm lucky there are NO pre-drilled holes for the doors. I'm waiting for my son to come and hold the door straight so I can drill holes, other than that it's a very nice, sturdy, well-made "piece of furniture" and worth real wood and not cheap hardboard be. Money! If you know how, building shouldn't be a problem.
