First I tore off the threads on the second skin I was trying to install because the two pieces didn't match. The correct orientation is shown in the image above. This serves to lock the hinge with a wedge action. Second, on the new Blink XT2 model, the leather covers the speaker from below. Not to be confused (like many) with the microphone, which is in the front. I cut out the material as you can see in the picture above. PLEASE: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BECAUSE IT CAN DAMAGE OR DESTROY THE SKIN. The skin works great with the original Blink camera as it only has a microphone and is not designed for the two-way communication built into the XT2.
