Great boot for the price. My son is 11 years old, he is very active and wears them every day and everywhere. He likes that he can easily put them on and take them off. When we're doing light hikes, they're pulled up for more support. This is our third pair in about 8 months. The tracks are starting to wear out and I have a feeling they are becoming unsafe for easy hiking. We now have two pairs of these boots. One for EVERY DAY (literally) and one for easy hikes. It has a different type of real hiking shoes for more adventurous hikes.
