First things first, if you're mounting it on a single stand and near a corner, make sure your TV will fit in the mount, and allow 23 inches from corner to other side the bracket. In our case, the 40" TV didn't fit, and we had to move the bracket out of the way, attach the far right side of the bracket to the center post, and use drywall anchors to mount the left side. Considering the TV's light weight of 9 pounds, that's certainly not an issue. Also, fasteners with self-locking sprung base locks seem to work better than those with screws, especially if you're angling the TV.
