Small size perfect for travel and commuting

Updated review 21 June 2021 I've had this USB-C hub for just under 3 months and have rarely used it since taking it with me in grades 1-2 I've had times a week for 10 weeks but I've had to replace it already. The hub let me down when I needed it most - during the funeral, trying to play a slideshow honoring my aunt. I needed an HDMI port to connect to the funeral home's A/V system, but my laptop didn't show up. Back home I took a closer look at the unit and it looks like the wiring has started to fall apart near the connector head. I didn't notice that before. This is disappointing as this is the newest of my three USB-C hubs and was the first to break. I've added 3 additional photos to show how it currently looks. Original review below from April 2021 ---------- This is my 3rd USB C hub purchase. I already have 2 because I use 2 external monitors in addition to my laptop but I'm tired of the unplugging one of my USC c hubs every time I went to school. After looking around I settled on this version of VicTck. I've had it for almost a month now and here are my observations: Pros: - I like the small size. I just keep it in my pencil case and it takes up almost no space. - light. These things shouldn't be heavy anyway, but I guess their presence is discreet. - Fast connection. There is no noticeable lag when I connect an external monitor to my laptop. - It has a minimal number of slots, which is ideal for me as I only need to connect a mouse and monitor. Cons: - From time to time my mouse gets buggy and I have to disconnect USB. I don't know why it crashes, but work returns to normal when I unplug and plug the USB again. If you're a student or professional who moves between locations a lot, this is a great little USB-C hub to have on hand. Good price! A minimum of options makes the device small and thin.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
