We hung a 50 inch TV that weighed about 40 pounds. The elongated bracket was twisted to the limit by the weight of the TV. I doubt it's really believable given the advertised weight of 65 pounds. I'm not very happy that it's actually rated for the 40 pounds we have now, especially if we extend the arm to add more HDMI cables later. Also, there was a problem with the installation. All of the other fasteners I've installed need to attach a plate. on the back of the TV and the bracket attaches separately to the wall. Then hook the TV to the bracket and tighten a screw. With this mount, you must first anchor the entire block to the ground, push the anchor bolts mostly into the walls, and somehow align the keyhole with the bolts on the wall. The tilt angle is not suitable for heavier TVs, so we had to place a molding behind the TV to keep the tilt correct. Everyone.
