I am a ski patrol and tore my meniscus on a slope last winter. I ski every day, my knee was sore and swollen, even at intermediate races. During the night he recovers somewhat, but not completely. Climbing the stairs was very uncomfortable. I didn't ski in the summer and my knee got a lot better and I was able to bend as much as my other healthy knee. The new ski season has started and the knee pain and swelling have returned, although not as severe as last season. During the week of vacation, a ski friend mentioned a virgin brace for a torn meniscus. This kneecap brace arrived in a few days. I was skeptical because it's so small and not like everything else. I placed this strap over the base layer below the kneecap and put on my ski pants. I felt almost nothing. I could have forgotten the parenthesis. I was able to ride steep slopes and bumps without paint again! My knee is a little swollen after a day of skiing and sledding. But it wasn't that bad, he recovered overnight. It is also much easier to walk down stairs with this orthosis. I just want it to be different sizes. It's too long for me and the velcro straps fold over the knee and restrict movement. If I could get a shorter brace it would be a 5 star brace!
