I bought these compression packs to pack my family's bags on a 2 week trip to Italy; They worked like a charm. I folded t-shirts, jersey tops, underwear, scarves, shorts, and jersey pants before packing them into cubes (for example, shirts, pants, and jeans were folded). Not only did the shrink feature allow us to save space (probably reduced the space needed by 30-40% depending on the cube and clothing), but because the tops of the cubes could be fully opened - like a flip-top - it was easy to easily transfer the cubes from suitcases to hotel room drawers without unpacking them. We only used them for clean (or reusable) clothes and placed a dryer at the bottom of each cube to keep our clothes smelling fresh; For dirty laundry, I packed vacuum-free plastic roll-up compression bags. The top of these cubes have a breathable mesh insert in the lid that lets you see what's inside and takes the guesswork out of unpacking or searching for stuff. I found that when twisted (which I did with most of our items) our clothes had little to no wrinkles (or no wrinkles at all). All three sizes fit in our 24" luggage - the two smaller ones fit nicely in our carry-on (and fit in a 20" suitcase). Very happy with these dice - would definitely recommend.
