This is a great little wax warmer. I was able to get it for $19.99 which is a great price for a heating pad that sucked good reviews. You won't find a quality heater cheaper. This is the first time I've used hard wax beads and a heating pad. I hate using soft wax because it peels the skin off. It only seems to take hair and dead skin. Yesterday I varnished my upper lip, the redness was gone in 5 minutes, I also have a Monroe piercing and it got infected a bit because the soft wax ripped off part of the skin from it, but I had no problems with the hard wax . So I started waxing my legs for the first time in a long time and everything is going great! It definitely hurts, but you're losing your hair. It can't be painless. Great for hair removal. I don't have much left, but that's because not all of my leg hair is the same length and you want the hair to be 1/4 inch to grow properly. Most of my hair is there but there is some stubble that is not there that is left behind. Don't worry, the second pass and some plucking work just fine. I'll be careful not to shave lest it drag on. I've had bad ingrown hairs with soft wax and read that it's not that bad because all the skin is removed with soft wax and I've seen that in reviews too so I'll update this review. If I get ingrown hairs later, but just FYI, it won't affect my rating. This is a great heater and if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a professional heater this is the perfect starter kit.
