The problem with my favorite KX10 headphones was solved by replacing the cable - the left earpiece didn't sit properly in my ear. Changed tips, bought additional save tips, but I was messing around with it all the time and it just wasn't right. Now the headphones are stable and shoot directly into the ear canal. The difference in separation as well as bass quality has greatly improved my listening experience. Silver wires can help with this leap in sound quality. If you regularly adjust one (or both) of your earbuds because they don't fit your ears properly and you've tried other earbuds without permission; I would have no hesitation in recommending investing in this upgrade.
