We love these mugs! Probably not intended for very young children as a toddler can probably remove the lid fairly easily. My 3 year old does great with it though! At first we used little colored straws but my daughter chewed them fairly easily (no problem with the baits, more like she loves chewing on straws!). But straws work great with and without attachments, so that's not a problem. I would recommend removing the rubber part from the mug before washing it in the dishwasher as water can get stuck underneath. But overall we absolutely love these mugs and my kids use them every day!
