Exactly what we need. The bulbs I received had glass lens caps (I've read other conflicting reviews about this). The ornament I used to replace the lamp did not have a lens cap and used two springs to hold the lamp in the fixture. Although it is a delicate decoration, I see no problem in keeping the bulb in place. The original lamp was 8 watts, I bought 10 watts and they worked great.
