Review on ☕ Comfee 1.7L Stainless Steel Electric Tea Kettle - BPA-Free, Cordless with LED Light - Fast Boil & Auto Shut-Off (1500W) by John Goerge

Some time ago I was given a similar kettle as a gift, and I really liked it until a couple of years later it stopped working. I chose this kettle as it was similar to the one I received and the price was reasonable. However, I received the kettle today and it's a little disappointing. First, the kettle doesn't sit flush with the base plate, which isn't a big deal, but if you have OCD it would suck to look at. Second, the lid didn't open as far as we'd like, which would make cleaning the kettle difficult. Third, it didn't boil water as quickly as my old kettle (although still not bad, it fully boils 1.7 liters of water in 6:30 minutes). Finally, the body of the kettle is not insulated like my old one, so you have to be very careful when using the kettle not to accidentally touch metal because it gets very hot, which is very annoying. not a bad product as it does what it's supposed to do while still being more convenient and quicker than heating water in a microwave but I recommend looking for a better alternative even if it means spending a little more.
