Too hot for safety reasons - Return
We bought 3 packs of these LED UV lamps. I installed one in an open fixture. It lit up well, but when I checked it after 15-20 minutes, the lamp base was so hot I couldn't hold it comfortably. This is completely unacceptable for an LED lamp. I thought maybe it was a problem with that one lamp so I tried a second one with the same result. They have been returned. I don't want my house to be that hot.
