Please note that none of the customer photos (as of 08/15/18) show children resting their feet on the folded up footrest. Any pressure on the footrest lowers it slightly. The one they gave me has no weight. I have to put a pillow under the footrest to support it. I bought the seat to use the recline function for my 2 year old. It's very comfortable and well made, except for the damn footrest. If you only want one chair, save your money and buy something cheaper. If you need a chair, be prepared to buy one.
