I first saw this on Pinterest and was intrigued. I'm the type of person who hates giving up my "seat in my purse" and putting my bag on the floor in the back seat. If I don't remember to take what I need, I'm out of luck until next time I stop (short arms). The bag I use is thinner, but it's 18 inches wide at the bottom — I measured to make sure it fits — and while it *holds* my bag, it's not as easy to put in there. I gotta fight it out there and fight it. I have another bag, smaller in width but thicker, and it doesn't fit at all. I wouldn't call my bags big either. Also, the front seats need to be in roughly the same position to make it look nice, which isn't always possible on my car (Jeep Cherokee) depending on the height of my passengers. Although it was a good idea in theory, I can't use it for my bags. Because of its location, I can no longer reach my hand to place my purse on the rear seat floor. I probably won't use it for other things as I hate clutter in my car - if things don't fit in my cup holders or center console I don't have them in the car. This can be useful for the passenger in the front seat, but if that's his thing I can't put my bag on the floor in the back either.
