While I wanted to love it, it just didn't work the way I was hoping. First of all, it is made of foam. Basically the same thickness as the styrofoam sheets after crafting. Because of this, it's really flimsy and difficult to set up. It doesn't sit straight most of the time, which of course lets all the water through. While it shields the ears well, it is difficult to get it on your head when the visor is snug against your head. He's only two years old, he's very small and doesn't have much room for adjustment. Might even work better with young children but not ideal for her and she is small for her age. Overall, I think the idea behind it is much better than the implementation. Would recommend looking elsewhere.
