Review on Outdoor Blackout Boys' Shoes: Timberland Adventure Two Strap Toddler by Aaron Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent durability and value. Durable, breathable, easy to slip on for 6 year old

**UPDATED AFTER THREE YEARS: The 6 year old mentioned below is now 9 and these sandals are holding their shape. (See photo.) We live in the Pacific Northwest so we only wear them in the summer, but my kids are very picky about shoes so I wear a navy blue pair for my youngest and buy a larger pair for my 9 year old. Durability and value.** I bought these to replace a pair of Keens that my 6 year old son never wanted to wear because he had trouble getting them on and off. ugly foot stink in a jiffy.) I got this Timberland in navy blue/yellow, which got the seal of approval from him and he wore them with pleasure for the last six weeks of the summer. He's worn them the hard way - climbing trees, playgrounds, the beach etc and I'm impressed with how well they've held up. I bought some bigger ones so I hope he can wear them next summer too. My only complaint is that the ankle strap is VERY long. My son naturally has skinny legs and ankles, but the end of this thing dangles almost to the floor. However, that worries me more than him! I suppose you could cut it off. Overall I think this is great value for money. I bought another pair for my youngest son next summer. (His cheap [local] sandals, shockingly, don't last until next summer.) I bought some bigger ones, so I'm hoping he can wear them next summer too. My only complaint is the ankle strap is VERY long.
