Easy to use, scalable and cost effective NoSQL database

The fact of being able to use it as an RDS instance has been really useful when I was trying out other NoSQL solutions (Couchbase/Redis).
Also having support from AWS allows me not only have my data stored but also easily accessible via cloud services which makes life easier! Not much so far - however this could just mean i haven't used all its features yet :) Would recommend if you are looking into using Redshift or Dynamo DB + S3 then definitely give quasardb another look!! Needed more flexibility around schema design compared Amazon's offerings & no need anymore needing separate code bases etc since everything runs within one application now :D.

Pros

Efficient for storing large datasets.
It works well with amazon web service
Ability do run queries in parallel without problems

Cons

Lack / lackluster documentation, especially about how exactly what is allowed inside schemaless tables sometimes there doesn´t seem too be any way possible
