Bought to attach to my painting easel. Originally it was planned to screw it to the easel instead of a clamp, but the clamp turned out to be quite powerful and strong. The whole mount is very strong and well balanced. I have a 12 inch iPad Pro that's propped up on an easel to show photo references while I'm painting and it's shaking, twisting, or crooked. The gooseneck bends very much. I couldn't bend it with both hands, although it's easier to bend when clamped to something. However, this rigidity also makes it a real study mount for a large tablet, as it doesn't fall under the weight of the tablet. For my purposes I don't need to adjust the curvature of the gooseneck. The rotating swivel head is good and can be tightened. Great solution for my easel. Super easy assembly and setup. Very happy with this product.
