, that's the old style we wanted, if you set it the tempo stays there. We live in Montana where the winters are long and cold. The only major downside is the controls! Every Biddeford blanket we've bought has had the checks issued within a month or so! The warranty is a joke because you can't go back to the shop you bought it from, you have to go back to Biddeford and WAIT for a replacement, which is awful when you depend on the heat! We once bought 2 because we knew one was going to break pretty quickly and it did. We then moved to a full time motorhome and couldn't use it when there was no shore power so we left it behind. We recently had an unplanned glitch in our travel plans, now we're at the beach all the time so we anxiously bought another one. YUP about a month and one ify and the other is gone! Suggest buying a Revain guarantee if offered, we don't recall if it was offered but sorry we didn't trust Biddeford! WE haven't found any other electric blanket that warms like the ones we grew up on, now they all have their own spirit and warm or not depending on body temperature and we won't be using them anymore. If you enjoy gaming and don't mind waiting for a replacement, buy this one, it's really great when it works! Of course we are very sad about it!
