Review on πŸŽ’ Osprey Arcane Roll Backpack: Stylish Stargazer Daypacks for Casual Adventures by Kimberly Cole

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Some design flaws but it's a good deal when you get about $50 (which you can)

There are some major annoying design flaws when I compare this to another roll top I own (bag from Topo designs). There is no strap at the bottom of the pack to pull down when trying to reach something that is compressing from above. Also, the top shoulder strap is too short to fill to the brim, which was a big factor in why I wanted a roll top from the start. The inner fabric is not light, so it is difficult to see things in a large black hole that is a pocket, and the latch that closes the top is inconvenient to close, especially with one hand because the fabric loop is very tight and difficult. The bag is not waterproof and does not come with an optional chest strap for carrying heavy loads. the outer pocket is too small to hold even a relatively light down jacket at the airport, for example, and it is also difficult to attach a bicycle helmet. The laptop compartment is not well lined and is difficult to fit into a laptop when the bag is full. BUT the bag is lightweight, quite stylish for a functional bag, it looks well made, the back system feels more premium than my Topo bag, and it also feels extremely breathable and airy. I'd say it's a good bag for warm weather and light city use, but not great for traveling or cycling with a lot of stuff.
