Review on Immerse in Crystal Clear Audio with Koss Multimedia Stereo Headphone, featuring USB Plug (SB45 USB) by William Groupp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I received my Koss headphones with mic a few days ago and they work fine as expected.

I bought Koss headphones with a microphone so as not to disturb others in the house while listening to music from a PC (sometimes turning up the volume). They work as expected and are very light (mostly plastic) but I haven't tried the mic yet. I hope the microphone clarity is good. The headphones sound very good to me. I'd say the sound is average, but what can you expect from a set of plastic headphones that cost around $35. The soft leather wrapping anything ever spongy in the earcups and headband is excellent. I can't hear some of the high notes well, but the lows and mids sound nice and clear, and the bass sounds great when it's in the music. They don't block out noises like voices, although when I turn on music with them on, my friend can't hear the music at all when he's sitting next to me. Money well spent even if the sound is "medium". Although the fit is quite good, it took me a while to get used to it, I had to move the headphones around my ears. I don't have big ears, but the comfortable ear cushions are quite snug. When properly positioned, they can be worn for hours. I will say that after an hour or two the ears started to sweat and itch. But that's just me, the ear pads are vented at the top. When using headphones and no mic, I turn the mic up in line with the headband where it's out of the way. The mic needs to pull a little harder on the swing arm as the mic drops a click or two front or back when adjusting the earcups to fit my head. I hope this helps someone with a difficult purchase decision. one brand or another.
