Review on 🪒 Chrome Shave Stand - Colonel Conk Classic Model 775 by Abby Libbett

Like many others I just wanted a stand for my shaving accessories but most were too expensive for my budget. I bought this stand hoping it wouldn't break after a few months. It's been over a year and everything is fine and I'm very happy with the purchase. The only thing to note is that the center shaft screws into the baseplate, which is hollow and filled with a black hockey puck. Soap. The "washer" is not as high as the hollow sheet, but fortunately still attached to the B-pillar. So the edges of the metal panel scratched my sink countertop. My solution was to cut out a piece of cardboard and insert it between the "washer" and the metal plate and then screw in the rod. Now the "washer" keeps the metal plate from quite touching the surface of the frame. I use this stand daily. No problem and I think it will last a lifetime.
