I got a blue case with magnetic keyboard for my iPad (2018). One of the panels has a rubberized space for an iPad and fits perfectly inside. The case unfolds into a triangular shape, which is much better than having nothing and trying to prop the iPad up on a slippery table or counter. There is nothing to latch or hold the case in place. There are about 3 grooves on the bottom and the edge of the iPad holder sits in the groove and the rubber edges prevent it from moving. Your keyboard is quite small, no wider than the iPad case. It has dedicated Mac-style keys, which I'm not used to. It connects to the iPad via Bluetooth and has an on/off switch. Seems to charge quickly. The keyboard is a different type of charging connector than the iPad's Lightning cable, but I have one cable that can be used for both types, so this wasn't an issue for me. The keys are fairly flat and compact together, not like a big desktop keyboard, but they work well enough. The only major downside is that the backspace key is too small - almost half the size of all other keys. I use backspace all the time! Well, I didn't care. You should switch the delete and return keys, IMHO. The enter key is a bit smaller than I'm used to, but that's ok. The iPad is a nightmare of editing problems - I really mean 10 years old and they still have that horrible cut and paste behavior. The keyboard is a bit more convenient for cut and paste, but iOS doesn't make it easy. (I've also added a Bluetooth mouse, but that doesn't help at all as it still uses a clunky and slow finger-like editing technique.) The keyboard doesn't stick to the case very much -- there's a slight magnetic force that lets us "attach" it ""a keyboard and it's going to fall off. The entire body is comfortably padded, but that also means you can't stand it up in bed - there's no hinge like a laptop. So it's definitely useful for long-term viewing. And I didn't have to take the iPad out of the case to do anything else with it. When I put my hands on it and twist the bottom of the case back it covers the hole for the camera. I like it in general. I think I'm going to invest in an iPencil (version 1, unfortunately) and see if that makes the iPad a little easier to use, although the keyboard helps me.
