These are high quality merino wool socks. They stay under the calf for as long as wool socks, which means I put them on a few times a day to keep them looking neat. This color (grey, red, anthracite) looks great with trousers with a touch of red or purple, or with gray trousers and a shirt of these colors. As with all patterned wool socks I've worn there are some minor fading where the color has faded. This also happens to my Smartwool diamond socks, but they are much worse than this brand. I am very happy with their look and wear (4 months or regular wear). Things to look out for: - A little wear and tear so if you want your socks to look streamlined and perfect these are not for you. - Excellent color and stripes, in my opinion, do not spoil the impression at all. Cozy. Below the calf so they don't stay on your feet all day without a little adjustment.
