Review on Efficient Cleaning with Casabella Basics Angled Set - Silver/Green Broom and Dustpan Combo by Emily Baker

I bought this to replace a Casabella broom that I loved. It was a similar price so I was hoping it was just a new model. The original had a solid one-piece handle, an easy-to-remove brush, and a dustpan that clicked into place and protected the bristles if you leaned them against a wall. To save on packaging, this one has a three-piece handle that self-disassembles. One part that doesn't come off is the brush. It has a protective shovel, but it doesn't hold up as securely as the old one. If they at least made the brush detachable with standard broomstick threads you could swap out the handle for a better one and it would be a decent broom but sadly no. The broom is light, but so light that I feel kind of uncomfortable using it. And it's so thin I think it will bend when stuffed under furniture. One of my kids will surely ruin it, and then it will be trash, literally, not figuratively, because of the non-detachable brush.
