Update 2 - After receiving the replacement ballast it has been working fine for about 4 weeks now. So I am very satisfied and have adjusted my original rating to the current ballast. GenuineXenon has told me on several occasions that the original ballast works. However, it worked separately on her desktop and didn't work when connected to my spotlight. In any case, the support team helped me get a working model and I'm happy to report that it's still working. Update - GenXenon contacted me and were very helpful in getting me a free replacement. They are very adamant that the problem is due to a moisture issue. I took extra steps to try and resolve any moisture issues. Hope this one does the trick. It works at the moment. I will update over time. I will say that GenXenon has been very helpful and responsive. Customer service is top notch! First Check - The original OEM ballast failed due to moisture, the moisture issue has been resolved. The genX ballast has been installed according to the instructions. The ballast worked for 2 days and then blew out again. Disappointed, now I have to buy a new one.
