I used this product, mostly gua sha, for about ten days before writing the report.Let's be honest and be real, you probably won't see the effect of massage in ten days or so of use, if your goal is to smooth out the wrinkles or saggy cheeks. You need to be patient and persevere for a while to see the benefits.However, there is one specific use I decided to try this item for, and that, you can get the result right away.That is to cool the skin. After working long hours, I get exhaused and my cheeks get hot flash. I usually just try to cool them with back of my hands, because cold compress would be too much, and simple damp towel/handkerchief is not an ideal item to be around when you work with lots of paper files. Then I thought, why not use the semi-precious stones? I occaionally visit crystal shops and buy stones. And I have noticed those stones easily get super heaed in my hand while I look around the shop for other stones and/or goods. So those things absorb heat easily.Lo and behold, the gua sha stone is a good size and thickness to hold and press against the cheeks. I use this cheek cooling time to also do the massage, so heat from the cheek is absorbed by the stone, at the same time, some skin rejuvenation workout is done. In a few minutes, gua sha stone gets really warm, so put it down on the desk (because I'm still working) for a few min. and it will be cool again for further face cooling/massaging. The stone is nicely polished, so it glides very smoothly. I really like the feel of this smooth cooling stone. Oh, and by the way, my stone is dark green and I am happy with the color too.I haven't really used the roller much, but it feels solid and sturdy in the hand. The stone definitely is solid and cool. But for me, it gets warm too quickly.The craftsmanship is good and the box looks good with black velvety lining, so could be giftable. Overall, I recommend the product.
